Manufacturing Process

Best quality Tendu Leaves or Bidi leaves (Diospyros Melonoxylon) are hand picked. They are then dried in natural condition under the sun.

Before the leaves are cut to the desired size they are dampened to make the rolling procedure easy. A small amount of fine quality tobacco which is flaked is hand rolled in a rectangular piece of the dampened Tendu Leaf. The tobacco used is blended and flavored, however, no chemicals or additives are added. Bidi Cigarettes are totally made from natural products.

After the bidi cigarettes are rolled and sorted, they are baked in ovens at a specified temperature and for a specified time.

Quality Check 

Best quality tendu leaves and tobacco are procured. Each leaf is checked by our quality control staff. Each batch of Bidi Cigarettes are tasted by experts. They are only shipped if they have the desirable taste and flavor.
